This two-part building, one old and one new, is characterized by its extraordinary wooden roof.
The timber roof spans a 95-foot-wide ice rink and spectator grandstand with eight 115-foot-long, 8-foot-deep, 18 ton double glulam beams made of spruce and fir. The building is clad with white and grey spruce with a larch roof soffit. The canopy with its large skylights extends 53 feet, protecting the entrance and connecting levels.
