Project: Bombasei
Bombasei is a mass timber residential development including 22 apartments and six terraced houses.
The development consists of 68 wooden modules which were prefabricated in our factory. Located on the former Bombasei factory site, the project is Switzerland's first major housing project made of prefabricated wooden modules filled with straw insulation (straw performs as well as rock wool). In addition to the timber, a total of 420 tons of straw were used.
